A well composed landscape shot can really create a mood which can range from inspiring to brooding.
I have always been in awe of the sublime work done by acclaimed landscape photographer Ansel Adams who focused on capturing the full tonal range in his sharply focused iconic black & white landscapes. I have also been greatly inspired by the work done by the Group of Seven as I have tried to capture a similar majesty of many of the same lakes they painted in the 1920s & 30s that I have since paddled over the past few decades.
